today!General Summary:In this program the individual will be
trained in multiple areas within the assigned business
organization. The individual will learn key processes across
varying functional areas that will provide the individual with a
holistic view of the organization. Gain real world experience
working for the leader in the supplemental insurance and
disability-based employee benefits marketplace. This position may
be leveraged across lines of business and requires flexibility to
be able to shift priorities based on business need.Principal Duties
and ResponsibilitiesProvide high quality transactional support to
business areas with a keen focus on productivity, accuracy and
customer service (could include but is not limited to resolving
claims, billing issues, special projects, etc.)Resolving customer
service inquiries with exceptional customer experienceUtilize all
appropriate tools and resources to resolve inquiries in a clear
concise mannerAttain productivity measurement goals without
compromising accuracy or serviceIdentify process improvement
opportunities and recognize trendsResponsible for developing
partnerships and working effectively and collaboratively with
appropriate partnersOperate as a team player (e.g. provide and
receive feedback, deal with conflict, support others, arrange for
or provide back-up support as necessary)Must strictly adhere to
privacy guidelinesMay perform other duties as assignedJob
SpecificationsBachelors degree or equivalent, relevant work
experienceStrong PC skills (Word, Excel, Mainframe)Strong time
management and organization skills; ability to prioritize and
function in a high production, deadline driven environment.Strong
level of technical knowledge, problem resolution and analytical
abilities.Strong customer service focus. May require flexibility in
schedule during high volume timeframes.Strong communication skills,
both oral and written.Solid mathematical and/or general accounting
skillsAbility to think critically in order to problem solve and
deliver solutions.Ability to interpret and apply workflow

position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above
in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill,
geographical location and
experience.$36,000.00-$64,800.00Additionally, Unum offers a
portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and
comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision,
dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability),
performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k)
retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional
4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All
