Check - we got that too!Job SummaryThe Controller is responsible for overseeing all operations of the Accounting Department and will have full responsibility for directing the work and performance of the accounting team. The Controller is expected to assist with their individual growth and development. The Controller is also responsible for production of all internal financial records including, but not limited to, monthly and annual financial statements, all in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).Responsibility and Essential Tasks/Duties --- - - - - - - - -Produce accurate and timely financial statements monthly --- - - - - - - - -Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) --- - - - - - - - -Prepare monthly financial reports for Company Managers, Board, and bank --- - - - - - - - -Develop cash forecasts and manage cash on short-term and long-term basis --- - - - - - - - -Provide management with feedback on problem areas and recommend solutions --- - - - - - - - -Oversee and supervise all accounting personnel --- - - - - - - - -Manage accounting operations including, but not limited to, Billing, A/R, A/P and GL --- - - - - - - - -Growth and development of accounting department --- - - - - - - - -Assist with compliance of federal and state laws --- - - - - - - - -Preparation of annual budgeting and updates throughout the year --- - - - - - - - -Post adjusting journal entries --- - - - - - - - -Develop, document, maintain and improve policies and procedures --- - - - - - - - -Perform annual Internal Controls review --- - - - - - - - -Assist external CPA firm with annual financial review and tax returns --- - - - - - - - -Work on special projects as delegated by the CFO --- - - - - - - - -Manage accounting/ERP systemRequirements & Qualifications

• BS or MS in accounting or finance
• CPA License preferred
• 7-10 -years of experience in public accounting or industry; with 3 years of supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel abilities
• Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint a plus
• Experience in the architectural/engineering industry a plus
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong communication and people skills, including the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance leaders and team members
