The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.**Salary Range**$81,400.00 - $134,200.00**Target Openings**1**What Is the Opportunity?**The Claim Business Intelligence & Analytics organization has an exciting opportunity for a Business Insights and Delivery Sr. Consultant. The primary focus of this position will be to work on an Agile team supporting the onboarding of new customers to our Claim Third Party Administrator (TPA) area called Constitution State Services. The activities include but are not limited to:--- Having the soft-skills required to partner with various organizations (i.e. Expiring TPA, Fronting Carrier, Claim Technology, Risk Management Information Services, Claim Product (supporting WC, Auto, Property and GL Lines of Business), and Claim Finance)--- Collaborating with Data Engineering and Expiring TPA to secure an intercompany connection between our respective organizations and to ensure the data is copied over to our secure network drive--- Collaborating with the Development Team by providing them requirements so they can produce the Notice of Loss and Claim Notes data content in our format--- Collaborating with the Expiring TPA to understand financial considerations and with Claim Product so the financials can be mapped--- Assessing the Claim files received from the Expiring TPA; Reviewing the data dictionaries and assisting with conversion of the content--- Assessing the data quality of the Claim data received from Expiring TPA and if any anomalies exist, work with them to remedy--- Integrating the mapping from Claim Product and the Data Dictionaries from Expiring TPA to produce a Summary and Detail Financial feed for MongoDB, which will ultimately reside in Claim PlatformThe Business Insights and Delivery Sr. Consultant must have technical and analytical skills. They must be able to understand and articulate the business requirements and how information needs to be consumed, as well as perform the data analysis required to create the information and achieve the desired outcome.Ideal candidates must have Claim knowledge (multi-line preferred), robust Excel skills, familiarity with source-to-target mapping and BI Tools (e.g. Qlik, MicroStrategy, MongoDb, etc). Candidates must be inquisitive and have a true passion and curiosity around data (can assess, profile and test). In addition, the individual must be detail oriented, an excellent communicator, have influencing skills, can multi-task and complete efforts on time with definitive deadlines. TPA marketplace knowledge a plus.Travelers offers a hybrid work location model that is designed to support flexibility.**What Will You Do?**+ Provide data analysis, programming, and coding support for multiple components of insights delivery.+ Contribute to data wrangling, user experience and interface design, semantic layer and material view design and builds, and asset lifecycle management across a range of capabilities including reporting, guided analytics, self-service, embedded, augmented, and data as a service across a range of multiple technologies and coding languages.+ Provide feedback on feasibility of individual components of solution design.+ Develop solutions that adhere to development standards and guidelines.+ Provide root cause analysis of production incidents and recommend solutions to avoid future incidents to management.+ Partner with leadership to ensure understanding of business problem, context, and audience to inform execution of the work.+ Align solution design to enterprise data management, security, and governance controls.+ Contribute to the recommendation and influence of solution design options within your supported portfolio.+ Understand current delivery portfolio and how it addresses business problems.+ Perform other duties as assigned.**What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?**+ Ability to communicate thoughts/designs/ideas in an unambiguous manner and adjusts communication based on audience.+ Strong business acumen with the ability to leverage previous experience to arrive at an effective solution to resolve business problems.+ Strong data acumen with the ability to profile, analyze, cleanse, and organize data of moderate complexity.+ Experience using Cloud, SQL, NoSQL, Python, CI/CD, Data Visualization, Business Intelligence Platforms (Qlik, MSTR, Tableau), and/or Web Development (HTML, JavaScript, Analytic Libraries), ESRI.**What is a Must Have?**+ Bachelor's degree or two years equivalent experience with business intelligence tools, techniques, manipulation, or related.**What Is in It for You?**+ **Health Insurance:** Employees and their eligible family members - including spouses, domestic partners, and children - are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.+ **Retirement:** Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
