Utilities is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst -Sr. Lead to
join our finance team. The Financial Reporting Analyst is
responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial reports
in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy. The
ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical
accounting and financial reporting. This role will work closely
with the Financial Reporting Manager to ensure the accuracy,
transparency and timeliness of reports. The ideal candidate will
have 1 to 7 years of relevant experience and will be responsible
for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyzing
financial data, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with
regulatory standards and internal policies. The position can be
filled as an Analyst, Senior Analyst or Senior Lead depending on
qualifications. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Financial
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
reporting packages for lenders and private equity sponsor in
accordance with GAAP, FERC, and other applicable regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate filings of financial reports with
appropriate stakeholders. Maintain compliance with internal
policies and external regulatory requirements. Assist with the
implementation of new accounting standards and process
improvements. Monitor changes in financial regulations and
standards to ensure ongoing compliance. Maintain and update
financial reporting systems and tools (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Sage)
Financial Analysis & Reporting Improvements: Analyze financial data
to provide insights and recommendations to management. Identify
opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial
reporting. Assist in the preparation of management reports and
presentations. Ensure compliance with internal controls and
financial reporting standards. Collaboration & Cross-Functional
Support: Work closely with finance, treasury, regulatory, and other
departments to ensure alignment in financial reporting. Support
special projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and system
implementations. Support internal and external audits by providing
required documentation and analysis. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum
education required of the position Bachelor’s degree in accounting,
finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification
preferred. Minimum experience required of the position Analyst
Level: At least three(3) years of progressive accounting
experience, preferably in a regulated utility or energy industry,
public accounting, or a related role Analyst Senior Level: At least
five(5) years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a
regulated utility or energy industry, public accounting, or a
related role Analyst Senior Lead Level: At least seven(7) years of
progressive accounting experience, preferably in a regulated
utility or energy industry, public accounting, or a related role.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position
Strong knowledge of GAAP, FERC, and SEC reporting requirements.
Proficiency in ERP accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and communication
skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to
interact with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage
multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Any

nearly 600,000 customers and become one of the leading natural gas
providers in Louisiana and Mississippi and among the top 40
providers in the United States. In 2023, Entergy announced that it
had entered into an agreement with Delta Utilities to sell its
Louisiana gas distribution business. The natural gas utility
currently serves more than 200,000 customers across East Baton
Rouge and Orleans parishes. In February 2024, Delta Utilities
entered into an agreement with CenterPoint Energy to acquire its
Louisiana and Mississippi natural gas businesses, which currently
serve approximately 381,000 customers. Once the transactions are
complete, Entergy's Louisiana natural gas operations and
CenterPoint Energy's Louisiana and Mississippi natural gas systems
