experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract
basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will be
responsible for delivering key financial insights, supporting
strategic decision-making, and ensuring accuracy in financial
reporting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess strong
analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial
data effectively. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive
financial analysis to support business objectives and performance
evaluation. • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to
forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability. • Perform variance
analysis to identify trends and deviations from financial plans. •
Provide ad hoc financial insights and reports to address specific
business queries. • Utilize data mining techniques to extract and
analyze large datasets for actionable insights. • Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting
processes. • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to
stakeholders. • Assist in refining and enhancing financial
processes and methodologies. • Present financial findings and
recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.•
Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling within a
corporate environment. • Strong expertise in conducting variance
analysis and delivering actionable insights. • Proficiency in ad
hoc financial reporting and data mining techniques. • Solid
understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles. • Advanced
proficiency in financial tools and software, including Excel and
other analytics platforms. • Excellent problem-solving skills with
the ability to interpret complex data. • Effective communication
skills to present financial information clearly to stakeholders. •
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
required; advanced degree or certification preferred.
