Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Assists in the
detection and prevention of fraud involving electronic/cyber
systems, debit/check fraud, new account fraud and identity theft.
Analyzes and creates various reports to identify and mitigate
fraudulent activities and to reduce the potential for loss. Job
Duties and Responsibilities: Works efficiently and effectively with
office, branch, and other personnel in the resolution of fraud
cases. Responsible for the investigation of fraudulent, illegal or
improper activities by customers and/or employees. Identifies
fraudulent checks and trends, at risk account, debit card trends
and assists in investigations when requested by the bank’s security
and fraud officer. Has a vast understanding of ebanking risks and
best practices. Including but not limited to RDA, Billpay and P2P
fraud. Follows all regulatory rules and regulations, immediately
reports any suspicious behavior and/or situations that may result
in criminal or emergency incidents, and completes all required
training in a timely manner. Subject matter expert on Regulation E,
ensuring the bank is compliant with laws and regulations. Assist
with customer and staff education regarding fraud. Maintains
working knowledge of the Bank’s policies, procedures, and internal
controls to combat common fraud schemes and trends. Performs other
duties as requested by management. Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities: Proficient in software programs of diverse functionality
used by the Bank, including but not limited to desktop applications
and administrative programs and resources (Microsoft Word, Excel,
and Outlook). Strong commitment and dedication to exceptional
internal and external customer service. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be
comfortable working effectively in a deadline driven environment.
Ability to communicate effectively through both written and oral
formats. Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and a
high level of accuracy. Discretion in handling confidential
