Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Case Manager 3 to join our team in support of a major state Program. This senior?level role includes oversight of case management activities, supervision of junior staff, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with Program guidelines. The Case Manager 3 serves as a senior team member responsible for maintaining full understanding of all applicable Program policies, requirements, and procedures. This role reviews cases for accuracy and compliance, leads or assists with daily Program activities, and may specialize in subject?matter areas within the functional unit. Case Manager 3 performs work with little to no direct supervision and ensures that applications are processed, monitored, tracked, and reported according to Program standards. This role also manages a team of Case Managers Levels 1 and 2 and helps ensure high-quality service delivery across the Program. Key Responsibilities Review all assigned cases to ensure compliance with Program policies, requirements, and established guidelines. Assist with or lead daily Program operations including application processing, monitoring, tracking, and reporting. Manage and provide guidance to a team of at least six Case Managers (Levels 1 and 2). Serve as a subject matter resource in one or more specialized domains (e.g., construction, financial review, housing, mitigation). Provide technical assistance regarding Program rules, regulations, and requirements. Ensure work is performed accurately, efficiently, and within defined timelines and performance measures. Prepare documentation, reports, and summaries as needed for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain organized, accurate Program records and use software systems effectively. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Three years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant functional area and/or providing specialized advisory services (e.g., construction, finance, housing, mitigation). Experience with CDBG housing, FEMA hazard mitigation, or similar programs preferred. Demonstrated experience supervising or managing staff, including direct oversight of six or more Case Managers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and performance targets. Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines, with the ability to interpret requirements and provide technical support. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and effective interpersonal abilities. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel tables, graphs, and the ability to learn new applications quickly. Plexos Group LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
