Outstanding Career Development Program Primary Function: The Office
Services Associate performs a wide variety of clerical and
administrative duties, which include providing a high level of
customer service and support, while consistently producing an
excellent work product. Typically reports to a department manager.
Primary Responsibilities: Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to
policies, procedures and processes. Interacts effective and
courteously, in person, by telephone, and in writing with
co-workers and other business professionals. Proactively
communicates the status of work. Utilizes available technology to
carry out job responsibilities and determines most appropriate
technology to accomplish a given task. Sorts and distributes
incoming and interoffice mail, assists in processing express and
overnight courier packages and meters mail and packages and
delivers to post office/mailbox and/or carrier mail drop boxes.
Assists with trouble shooting technical problems with mail
machines. Makes photocopies and delivers finished project according
to schedule. Assists with trouble shooting technical problems with
copiers. Assists with Microsoft Office Products as requested
including creating spreadsheets, word documents as directed.
Provides backup to the receptionist. Orders office supplies as
requested. Overtime work, as needed Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education/Designations High school diploma or
equivalent required Skill Requirements: Good verbal and written
communication skills Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a team environment Projects professional
appearance and manner Self-starter with the ability to be flexible
High attention to detail Own mistakes and takes corrective action
Physical Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively with
co-workers Ability to stand or sit at a workstation during a
standard workday Ability to operate a computer and other office
productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and printer Ability
to move about the office to access office machinery and supplies
Mental Requirements: Ability to work and meet challenging deadlines
and expectations Job entails meticulous attention to detail. Must
perform well with frequent interruptions or distractions Ability to
quickly adjust priorities, focus and direction as circumstances
