Job Description Job Description We are looking for a meticulous
and motivated Administrative Assistant to join a growing company in
Metairie, Louisiana. This short-term contract position offers an
opportunity to contribute to a thriving team by performing
essential administrative and office support tasks. Ideal candidates
are highly organized and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities: • Handle incoming sales calls and provide
attentive customer service. • Assist in generating new leads to
support business growth. • Coordinate and schedule meetings
effectively for the team. • Provide support for marketing campaigns
and activities. • Maintain accurate records and documentation
within the organization. • Prepare engaging presentations and
materials to support team objectives. • Track and monitor the
progress of sales and marketing initiatives. • Collaborate on
creating high-quality proposals and RFPs to win new business. •
Perform order entry and generate inventory reports as required. •
Deliver general clerical support to ensure smooth office
operations. • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Administrative
Assistant supporting teams or departments. • Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. •
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred. •
High school diploma or equivalent is required. • Exceptional
attention to detail and the ability to work independently. •
Previous experience in logistics or transportation is a plus. •
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks with accuracy and meet deadlines
effectively.
