What You'll Do

The Director of Enablement for Product Marketing is responsible for working with enablement teams for sales, CX and partners to define the agenda and coordinate the delivery and execution of enablement activities, leveraging subject matter experts across product, portfolio, solution, and technical marketing.

This is a cross-functional role with the opportunity to set direction for marketing enablement for the entire Cisco security portfolio and to interact with senior business leaders to create lasting outcomes through major enablement events and roadshows.   • Co-lead global security sales enablement council
  • Synthesize business goals, marketing and sales plans to define enablement strategy and create the calendar of enablement activities
  • Work with sales and enablement leaders to determine the enablement needs for onboarding, market insights, platform, product and solutions messaging, product capabilities, new innovations being launched and competitive intelligence
  • Partner across Marketing and Product teams to source content as needed for enablement events
  • Build cross-functional relationships. Work across functions and levels - from individual contributors to key executives - to ensure comprehensive inputs to strategic enablement planning
  • Contribute to overall enablement management, from creation and editing through approvals, training events, knowledge assessment, curation and maintenance
  • Define the bill of materials for sales enablement, including defining new structures and deliverables for partner/direct seller consumption (e.g.: sales plays, competitive battlecards)
  • Perform strategic mapping of enablement to seller persona journeys and ensure content is available in systems of record to support self-service consumption throughout those journeys

    Who You'll Work With

    You will be given assignments may include working with project and committee leadership for cross-functional teams, coordination of Product Marketing and Technical Marketing teams to produce content for two major international enablement events for employees and partners as well as frequent regional and virtual enablement sessions, working with sales enablement leaders to define the scope, shape and timing for new and updated sales resources, such as sales plays - and incorporating feedback into the system to regularly improve quality and consumption of enablement materials. You will also work with the operations team to report on enablement outcome measurement; make recommendations for optimizing enablement content quality, processes and delivery to learners

    Who You Are

    Our minimum requirements for this role:
    • Five to 10 years of product marketing, product management, sales enablement or field experience
    • Cybersecurity experience
    • Cybersecurity technical/product category experience
