We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Marketing Communications Coordinator to lead our marketing and communication efforts and contribute towards the strategic objectives of our school. In this role, you will provide strategic input for all admissions and retention activities, including promoting our school and engaging with prospective families through our various channels, tracking and managing leads, and leading the development and execution of communication to our internal audiences and existing families. This is an exciting role that will hone the leadership and strategic capabilities of the successful candidate while working alongside a world-class team of educators and administrators. Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will enjoy a balance of support and autonomy which will enable him/her to make meaningful contributions to the school. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree required; major in communications or journalism preferred, advanced degree is a plusMinimum of 2 marketing communications experience; school or other education management experience preferredProven track record of delivering measurable successOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as with a teamExcellent project management skills; capable of working well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesAbility to think creatively and innovatively A solutions-orientated and positive 'can-do' attitudeHands-on experience managing budgets and third party vendors/agenciesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of design programs such as Adobe Photoshop is a plusKnowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) keywords, light html coding and blog posting is a plus KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The development and implementation of an integrated, comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aimed at retaining current families and attracting new onesEffectively identify and communicate the school's stories to internal and external audiencesMaintain accurate recruitment, admissions and retention dataSelf-assess and continuously improve the school's marketing efforts Work proactively to resolve operational challenges and stakeholder concernsServe as an "Ambassador" for the school and promote the BRIS mission, philosophy and programsFoster a culture of aspiration and continuous improvementChampion the aspirations of our students and school community Opportunities for the successful candidate: The opportunity to work with a team of committed and supportive colleagues in a world-class educational environmentThe opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from different schools in the U.S. and from around the world through the International Schools Partnership Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
