Partner with the best

Field Controls Engineer - Turbomachinery Controls Coordinates and oversees work at a field site, providing quality service to the customer. Job role may include sales, job design, execution, and follow up activities.

Provides the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used. Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators. Coordinates the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.

May evaluates individual performance levels of the crew and trains operators to improve their job performance.

Position requested for the Cameron LNG site in Hackberry, Louisiana

Hours/Schedule

The engineer will be required to work 12 hour shifts for 30 days on site and 30 on standby, of those historically 15 will be worked but there are no guarantees on this. Any hours over 40 per week and Saturdays will be paid 1.5, Sundays and bank holidays double time

As a Field Controls Engineer - Turbomachinery, you will be responsible for:

Perform in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of TPS Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites

Mainly specialized in Instrumentation and Control Panels.

To perform in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of TPS Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.

To be responsible to perform minor/major maintenance of equipment following the TPS Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.

To Be primary contact to work with the Customer Representative and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.

To provides records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes TPS Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.

Execute all required responsibilities safely by following all TPS Service applicable processes and procedures.

Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.

To provide limited troubleshooting on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.

Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Two-year Technical Degree preferred.

industry experience and TPS product line training required (heavy duty gas turbine)

2 years or more hands on LNG Experience

To be familiar with software/systems such as MARK VI, MARK VIe, Woodward, Micronet, DLN Tuning, Antisurge, PLC and HMI

Excellent Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.
