Job Description:
Drax Group plc is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation
Technician to join our dynamic team within the engineering and
maintenance department. As a leader in the energy sector, Drax is

future. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance
and reliability of our electrical and instrumentation systems
across our operations. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on
electrical systems, instrumentation, and control devices. Install,
calibrate, and troubleshoot issues related to electrical,
pneumatic, and mechanical instruments. Ensure compliance with
health and safety guidelines and company policies. Read and
interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to maintain
system and component compatibility. Collaborate with the
engineering team to develop solutions that enhance system
reliability and efficiency. Participate in the testing of new
equipment and support project commissioning activities. Maintain
accurate maintenance logs and reports. Expertise in PLC systems and
SCADA. Proficiency in diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical
and control systems. Ability to interpret and utilize engineering
drawings and schematics. Strong communication and collaboration
skills. Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under
pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life

as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) or
International Society of Automation (ISA). Relevant safety
certifications, e.g., OSHA Electrical Safety.
