Job Description:
SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for an Instrument
and Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Louisiana. The incumbent
will assure proper design, installation and repair of instrument
and electrical equipment and provide expertise to support
maintenance, operations, and capital project activities. The scope
is instrumentation and electrical less than 600 volts.
Qualifications: BS Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering 5
years of experience in chemical/petrochemical instrumentation
and/or electrical maintenance. Broad based, hands on knowledge and
experience with various types of instrument and electrical systems,
equipment and software. Possess a good working knowledge of all
instruments and electrical equipment and a solid understanding of
maintenance work processes. Ability to communicate effectively with
facts and figures along with the ability to influence, persuade and
negotiate. Strong interpersonal skills are required in this
position. Knowledge and experience to provide technical guidance A
thorough understanding of maintenance methods and procedures and
standards such as understanding details of instrument calibration
and sizing. Electrical systems experience up to 480 volts.
Knowledgeable with applicable code requirements, including PSM, and
safety policies. DCS experience and PLC knowledge. SAP/R3
knowledge. This position requires all candidates to either
currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation
Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U.S. Department of
