Description Engineering Project Technician / Designer T. Baker Smith is seeking talented Project Technicians and Designers with civil design experience to support our growing team in our Prairieville location! Your Opportunity: To gain experience working with professional engineers and technicians. Prepare client deliverables. Calculating, analyzing, organizing, coordinating, and researching information, preparing drawings, and aiding in tasks necessary to complete the project. Ability to team up with our engineers to prepare and discuss drawings and project specifications and details for a variety of civil engineering infrastructure projects. Providing technical support for project teams. To help in any area necessary to get the work completed according to the project schedule. Assist other project teams or departments with technical, field, or other duties as needed or requested. Desired Qualifications and Skills: Associate degree in Drafting and Design. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in civil engineering design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, InRoads, or OpenRoads. Self-motivation and the ability to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail is a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
