Job Description:

Management will lead a team of 31 people and develop strong, collaborative relationships with operations and human resources leaders across FMOLHS. The Vice President will work closely with the HR leadership team to build and implement strategies, systems and processes so that team members and physicians can provide the highest quality care and service to patients and customers. Additionally, the Vice President will ensure that FMOLHS adopts and implements a comprehensive talent management strategy, which includes integrated learning and development, talent acquisition, mobility, succession and readiness, workforce planning, performance management, career development and engagement plans. The Vice President, Talent Management will have the following ongoing principal responsibilities: * Manage and lead a team within the HR Talent Management organization * Build and implement the FMOHLS talent management strategy in partnership with CHRO and integrate contemporary practices and digital technology. * Analyze the effectiveness of current talent management processes and programs and make improvements. * Integrate and steward key FMOLHS talent initiatives focused on learning and development, mobility, succession and readiness, talent acquisition, performance management, career development, executive coaching and team member and physician engagement plans into the FMOHLS talent management strategy to support FMOHLSs current operations and strategic goals. * Oversee the FMOLHS Talent Acquisition function and ensure that executive, professional and clinical recruiting, employment brand and positioning, candidate sourcing, recruitment technologies, and building a comprehensive talent community are integrated into the FMOLHS talent strategy. * Partner with HR leadership, HR Business Partners and system leaders to design and implement key performance indicators to monitor and report the impact of talent management practices to leadership and the board. * Work arm-in-arm with key HR stakeholders, including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Leading, HR Analytics and Workforce Planning, HR Shared Services, Ministry HR and HR Business Partners etc. * Effectively develop and manage vendor/partner relationships to ensure delivery of high quality and cost-effective services. Establish and maintain service level agreements internally and externally as appropriate. * Serve as the FMOLHS talent management subject matter expert on trends, methods and opportunities to improve talent management practices. Experience Minimum Position Requirements: The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10+ years experience focused in talent management and organizational development, utilizing strengths in change management and project management; including experience with leading high-profile projects, excellent execution of strategies, process improvement, culture and system change, team development, meeting facilitation and design, and communications. (Experience should include multi-site organizations with complex structures and organization dynamics, as well as scale in excess of $1B in revenues and 7,500 employees). Additionally,_The_Successful_Candidate_Will_Meet_The_Following_Requirements * Leader will have 5-7+ years managing high performing teams. * Demonstrated ability to develop, improve and implement comprehensive, contemporary and integrated talent management strategies, programs and processes (in support of HR transformation and more broadly in the organization) and the ability to do this as a senior leader and change practitioner * Deep expertise in all aspects of talent management and working with broader Shared Services/HR operations leaders * Highly analytical with ability to diagnose business situations, identify cause and effect relationships, and convert analysis to strategic decision-making and action to facilitate change * Proven track record of large-scale project management and execution of large HR initiatives * Experience socializing and presenting analysis, proposals and strategies to organization leaders * Superb written and verbal communication/presentation skills, including facilitation, negotiation and listening skills for a variety of audiences from employees, executives, governing boards to public audiences * Management skills; effective in assessment and team building, goal setting, and productivity oversight Education Bachelors degree required, Masters degree or higher in a relevant discipline preferred.
