Role Mission:--
The-- V ice President --of Talent Development --(VPTD) --is responsible for designing, executing, and measuring a-- professional-- development strategy to support-- IDEA 's --workforc e across all IDEA regions-- within-- a-- diverse,-- fast-paced, and high-growth environment. The Talent Development Team-- operates in service to our --employees-- by capturing-- bright spots and-- best practices from the field , cura ting resources, and transferring them across the organization-- in the most effective ways-- to ensure-- the continuous improvement of our-- employees' performance --and the a chievement-- of our goals as an organization and across all IDEA regions . The VP of --Talent Development assures that learning experiences are coordinated and cohesive-- across department and teams and-- throughout-- all --talent pipelines --such that all-- employees become masters of their roles , remain highly engaged,-- and achieve readiness for promotion . The VPTD --serves a critical role on the Human Assets Leadership Team in-- working towards our vision of championing and modeling IDEA's joyful culture of high performance through relationships, results, and retention.-- This is a national role and candidates should be able to reside in one of IDEA's named or future locations: the Rio Grande Valley, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Houston, Tarrant County, Permian Basin, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Tampa, Jacksonville, or Cincinnati.--

• Create and execute-- hi gh quality and innovative-- teacher-- and leader preparation --and-- ongoing --professional development opportunities --aligned to-- the-- highest need skills,-- with support for-- targeted --in-field coaching-- to assure-- mastery
• Partner with cross-functional-- teams-- including Program-- and Operations-- to offer best-in-class-- resources ,-- professional development , and targeted support-- to campuses ,-- regional-- and national-- teams --to ensure effective instructional , managerial, --and leadership practices on all our-- campu s es
• Analyze-- student achievement-- data-- to identify-- which instructional practices are achieving the highest outcomes and capture those-- strategies-- in a transferable way to help spread --throughout the-- organization-- for-- continuous-- improve ment in pursuit of our-- goals Design effective-- training, development, and ongoing support for employees and managers to ensure we-- r etain over 85% of --IDEA's teachers and-- staff
  
  • In collaboration with Staffing Team,-- Talent Management ,-- Diversity , Equity, and Inclusion,-- and-- Schools Team , set strategy-- to achieve the highest levels of employee satisfaction, performance , --and-- retention-- at rates-- exceeding-- industry-- standard
  • Design and execute pre-service trainings and on-the-job coaching to assure teacher and leader effectiveness in-- their-- first year-- and subsequent years-- in-- the-- role
  • Provide targeted support to managers struggling with staff culture, engagement, satisfaction, or-- retention
  • Analyze-- ongoing and historical retention-- data to identify bright spots --and --collect best practices and strategies in a transferable way to help spread throughout the organization for continuous improvement in pursuit of our-- goals Identify and transfer best practices for mangers to-- e nsure high levels of employee engagement for IDEA to achieve 80% agreement on-- Great Place to Work --annual-- survey
    
    • In partnership with --Talent Management, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion , and Schools Team develop the strategy to-- proactively build strong staff culture across the organization and lines of difference through multiple means of managerial-- development
    • Analyze data-- from our annual Great Place to Work survey and pulse checks to identify bright spots --and --collect best practices and strategies-- to provide resources and support to managers-- across the-- organization
    • Integrate-- into all our professional learning opportunities , the best practices and bright spots that have delivered proven results in employee engagement while continuously improving our efforts to ensure an inclusive and equitable work-- envi ron ment Design and implement instructional leadership preparation programs to ensure all-- new principals are able to meet-- Beginning of the Year-- effectiveness benchmarks-- regarding enrollment, student persistence, and staff-- retention

                        • Salaries for this role typically fall between $122,700 and $155,900 commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on individual and organizational performance and goal attainment.
