The Team The Policy & Life Insurance Analysis (PLIA) Team is
looking for an experienced Program Manager to support solutioning
of non-migration options for legacy policies. The ideal candidate
will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize
and implement high-level program initiatives. In addition, you will
have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation and
are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture
program success from inception to completion. Do you want to be

hire a PLIA Program Management Director to join our ETX PLIA Team:
Responsibilities: * Assisting to overseeing the achievement of
larger organizational goals through coordination of efforts between
different projects and multiple workstreams.
* Work across workstreams to keep initiatives on track, remove
roadblocks, and manage PLIA relationship with vendors
* Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that
adhere to organizational objectives
* Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and
improvement
* Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality and
performance
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders,
cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and
develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget,
and timing for new initiatives
* Manage program and project teams for optimal
return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project
initiatives
* Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and
external vendors
* Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for
delivering against established business goals/objectives
* Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within
the department
* Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce
program reports for management and stakeholders
* Provides support to the successful transitioning of blocks of
business during post-acquisition migration activities
* Will hire support staff (as necessary) and manage/lead them to
deliver departmental/organizational results
* Ability to read and synthesize financial data, metrics and
related quantitative and process information The purpose of PLIA is
to develop and implement a strategic vision for exception policy
management. This analytical framework will identify such policies,
standardize processes and workflows so that they will be integrated
with our standard migration execution. In addition, the framework
will allow for collaboration with a broad group of stakeholders
(e.g., actuarial, sales, compliance, and others) in order to
implement alternative inforce policy management approaches. The
Impact: Accountability * Act as the point of contact for PLIA
project development, coordination and completion providing
reliable, accurate information and deliverables in a timely
manner
* Provide executive-level deliverables that will be used for
enterprise level reports and updates to the Platform Transformation
Team, ELT and Board of Directors Agility * Be able to be nimble,
confident and able to adjust in an ever-changing environment
* Understand and embody the concept of "we are the music makers and
dreamers of the dream" Business Acumen * Continuously search for
new ways to strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives
that adhere to organizational objectives
* Use expertise to assist with multiple project teams across the
enterprise, ensuring PLIA and organizational goals are reached
Communication * Listen to management and stakeholder (i.e. Product,
Actuarial, et al) input, interests, needs and convey information
across the enterprise in a timely and transparent manner
* Display confidence and gravitas when presenting analysis and
other information to all levels of the organization Courage * Be
able to utilize a data-driven and process-oriented methodology to
challenge the status quo
* Acknowledge inadvertent errors or mistakes without placing blame
on others and finding a correct path forward The Minimum
Qualifications * Baccalaureate degree in any field or relevant
experience
* 8 years of experience within insurance transformational project
management initiatives
* Previous stakeholder management skills
* Customer-centric while aligned to corporate objectives
* Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and
organizational skills
* Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and
performance evaluation processes The Ideal Qualifications Prior
experience/skills/knowledge: * PMP or CAPM certification
* Strong ability to process engineer/reengineer
* Proven proposal writing experience
* M&A program/project management experience
* Ability to think strategically and see the 'big picture'
* Have a thirst for knowledge and desire to develop into a
