DepartmentMedicaid Project Management OperationsJob SummaryOrangeJob DescriptionPOSITION DUTIES:Assists in support and development of interfaces between both internal and external trading partners.Assists in documenting all interfaces between the Department and internal and external entities.Helps Identify and investigate innovative technologies and/or processes across the Enterprise that potentially provide value to the Department.Assists in the designs of robust, reusable and scalable data driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks to automate the ingestion, processing, and delivery of structured and unstructured batch and real-time streaming data.Assists in the development of data APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes and analytical models.Understands and implements best practices in management of enterprise data, including master data, reference data, metadata, data quality, and lineage.Provides technical support to project teams working on complex and interrelated systems to ensure compliance with all information technology policies, procedures and programming standards.Assists in the development of reporting in conjunction with Department leadership that meets the needs of the Department, meets required report specifications, and which helps guide business decisions.Leads meetings with internal and external stakeholders to elicit information needs and ensure appropriate interpretations.Conducts detailed audits, quality reviews, and ad-hoc reporting of all interfaces and batch transactions as needed.Reviews error reports for data warehouse loads and other file transfers and interfaces to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Performs batch monitoring and restarts consisting of verifying batch jobs start as scheduled, monitoring scheduled production batch jobs and resolving batch scheduling conflicts.Monitors scheduler related incidents and develops and recommends changes to the scheduler database.Notifies the Department as required in the "Run Book" or other supporting documentation of success and failure of batches.Performs active maintenance and regular reviews to improve effectiveness of the "Run Book".Ensures that all SLAs related to interface and batch processing are successfully met.Communicates with Interface trading partner(s) on technical issues.Notifies cross functional teams and program sections of any Interface or batch related issues.Assists with the analysis and interpretation of complex data on all target systems, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to validate requirements.Performs root cause analysis to resolve and validate all interface and batch production issues.Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Department.QUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED:Bachelor's degree or a minimum of six years of professional experience in lieu of degree.Minimum one year of experience with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, Access, or Tableau.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or comparable applications.Experience with Agile development and project management practices.Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.DESIRED:Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, math, engineering).Minimum two years of experience with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, Access, or Tableau.Minimum one year of experience with data warehousing architecture concepts and ETL techniques.Minimum one year of experience with Batch and Interface processing of large data groups.Relevant technology certification (CISM, CISSP, CISA ).Required Attachment(s)Please upload the following documents in the Resume/Cover Letter section.
