  • 8200 Constantin Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, 70808, US Posting Date 08/31/2022, 06:37 PM Job Shift Day Requisition Schedule Full-Time FTE Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Hours of Schedule ( e.g. Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm) Weekdays Department The Patient Experience Manager reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Nursing and contributes to the quality and safety of health care delivery by serving as a point of contact for the patient/family when a concern involves multiple departments/units, answering questions, assuring their concerns are addressed, and compassionately guiding them through their hospital experience. The Patient Experience Manager will assist the Patient Relations Manager with facilitating the investigation and resolution of patient/family complaints/grievances that cannot be resolved at the point of care and to ensure grievances are addressed in compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is also responsible for advancing the hospital towards Service Excellence by providing education and training as deemed necessary for the improvement of the patient experience.
    -Experience Three (3) years relevant professional experience. Master's degree substitutes for 2 years of experience. The Manager Patient Financial Services manages a defined section of the Business Office as assigned: Billing (government or commercial) or Support Services (cash posting, customer service, vendor management, refund analysis, document retrieval and scanning). Manages daily operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all areas of responsibility. Provides Quality Improvement monitoring to ensure employee compliance with departmental standards and procedures. Identifies process opportunities and seeks out and implements solutions. Hires, trains and develops employees within area of responsibility. Our Lady of Lourdes Main Campus - Under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Director, the Patient Access Manager is responsible for the overall management, organization, and productivity of department operations. Basic responsibilities include performing Access Management activities, working escalated problem patient accounts, preparing payrolls, hiring and training of staff, reporting on department metrics, implementing quality assurance initiatives, and the achievement of short and long-term goals. The Manager should remain in full compliance with all departmental, institutional, and regulatory policies and procedures at all times. Some weekend and evening call may be required as our facilities operate on a 24 hour basis.
