Job Function - Provides organizational leadership to the assigned region. Responsible for the production and maintenance of all assigned banking activities within the region. Collaborates with line-of-business leadership to optimize efficiencies and growth opportunities. Maintains strong community ties and serves as a well-known community advocate.Job Responsibilities - Maximizes the growth and profitability of the assigned region through the development and management of a sales and service plan to deliver commercial banking solutions.Leads and supervises Commercial Lending team in assigned region.Increase net income performance for assigned areas with a focus on quality, service, production and retention. Collaborates closely with line-of-business management to establish priorities and lead the development of business, sales and service, and people strategies.Ensures alignment, integration and implementation of assigned region with the Bank's strategic plan. Identifies gaps in strategy and partners with leadership to develop solutions and will identify/assess opportunities for growth and expansion within the market. Maintains a sound credit portfolio by managing all areas of risk (i.e., credit, asset liability, market, operation, etc.). Communicate compliance requirements to assigned staff and ensures adherence to the Bank's Credit Policy and applicable internal audit requirements. Manages a high performance culture by creating a work environment that supports engagement, innovation, creativity, teamwork and diversity.Establish and maintains strong community ties and is seen as a community leader.Ensures that own work is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines.Performs all other duties as assigned.Education and Related Experience - --- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Commercial Banking experience required.--- 10+ years of Commercial Banking experience required, of which 5+ years must be in a leadership role managing a team.--- Credit analysis experience preferred.--- Must have related experience in the assigned market.Skills and Abilities - --- Must have in-depth knowledge of Commercial banking products and services as well as a strong knowledge of financial service industry.--- Must have expert knowledge of local market, competitive market place and trends in product offerings.--- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, specifically team leadership--- Must have client relationship management skills, business planning and strategic market analysis experience.--- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills --- Must possess outstanding presentation skills.--- Must have excellent listening ability and problem solving skills.Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements - --- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.--- Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.--- Ability to read and interpret a document.--- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.--- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
