Job Description:
Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana is looking for a
Program Director for our HIV/AIDS program.
The Program Director of HIV & AIDS Services will be responsible for
overseeing and supervising all aspects of federal, state & city
funded programs for individuals living with and affected by
HIV/AIDS. This person will be a member of the division's management
team and will supervise staff of case mangers & consumer advocates.
The Program Director will be responsible for maintaining, renewing
and ensuring compliance with grants and contracts and developing
and monitoring annual program budgets. The director will oversee
housing units and operations and will continue to seek out ways to
enhance and grow the program.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Service field plus 3 years of
experience supervising mid-level employees & working with
individuals with HIV/AIDS is required. Qualified candidates must be
able to multi-task, work well in a team structure, demonstrate
excellent oral and written communication skills & must be
proficient in all Microsoft applications. Grant writing experience
preferred.
