**Description**
**Quality Management Claims Analyst** ** Life and Disability Claims
Operations**
**Location** : This position will work in a hybrid model (remote
and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one
of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The **Quality Management Claims Analyst** is responsible for
ensuring regulatory compliance through the handling of appeals,
Department of Insurance inquiries, legal support and compliance
requirements.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Assists in quality assurance/improvement issues.
+ Communicates regulatory/compliance changes affecting SBU.
+ Coordinates audit activities for both Internal Audits and
statutory audits.
+ Interfaces with internal partners to support/identify issues and
improvements for compliance and regulatory requirements.
**Minimum Requirements:**
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
insurance, medical accreditation, or government regulations; or any
combination of education and experience, which would provide an
equivalent background.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ Prior experience working with life and/or disability claims is
highly preferred.
+ Experience in claim procedures preferred
+ Strong attention to detail and able to meet deadlines is strongly
preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below
locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $55,440
to $99,792
Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey
City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County,
NY
