Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with patients on balances due; update patient insurance; verify eligibility
• Knowledge of EOB and denial process
• Call insurance companies to settle account issues and the payment of medical claims
• Research and resolve unpaid medical claims
• Appeal denied medical claims
• Keep patient billing information up to date
• Assess patient financial patient financial and insurance status to determine appropriate payment arrangements Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Cross-train with all departments as neededParticipates in other duties as assigned by management Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
