Qualifications: As set by the State Board of Elementary and
Secondary Education in Bulletin #746. Additional qualifications
include:? Holds a Louisiana Certification (Ancillary Teaching
Certificate) in the area of Speech Pathology;? A valid license from
the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology
in the area of Speech Pathology.? Job Goal: To help reduce or
eliminate speech, language, and/or hearing impairments that
interfere with the individual student's ability to derive benefit
from accessing the district's general education program. Terms of
Employment: 182 Day Year. Salary Schedule: See Salary Schedule as
established by the LPPS Board.
