Job Description:

This job administers care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties, utilizing the Nursing Process. Provides observation of the patient and intervenes as needed to maintain patient safety. communicates effectively with co-workers, patients, family and visitors.EducationRequired -High School diploma or equivalentCompleted the sophomore year with a hospital-based clinical rotation of a National League of Nursing accredited school program
Student in good standing with the school of nursingPreferred - Completed the junior year with a hospital-based clinical rotation of a National League of Nursing accredited school program
Work ExperienceRequired -Experience working with and maintaining confidential information.
CertificationsRequired -Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
