• Demonstrates leadership and managerial ability
• Has the ability to organize, plan and supervise the Nursing Department in coordination with other resident services during the hours as designated by the Director of Nursing
• Demonstrates the ability to lead the Nursing Department in a cost effective professional manner
• Maintains effective interpersonal relationships
• Is capable of implementing changes as determined by the Nursing of Director
• Is courteous in working with residents, families and employees
• Must be willing to be working in the facility with the staff of the shifts as designated by the Director of Nursing
• Must demonstrate ability to follow policies, procedures, practices and direction without the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Must demonstrate ability to evaluate the geriatric resident's needs and implement systems to meet these needsEducation/Experience//and or Training
  • Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial ability
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Current/active CPR certification preferred
