interest!Overview:Due to growth, Lewy Physical Therapy is now
hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for an
Outpatient Orthopedics position in Baton Rouge, LA. Full-time
availability is preferred. 40 hours per week are available.
Part-time candidates with at least 15 hours of availability per
week will also be considered.Caseload / Patient Population:The
Physical Therapist Assistant hired will work with a variety of
orthopedic diagnoses, with some focus on the geriatric population,
a small number of neuro patients and some stroke patients. The
clinic is primary general orthopedics. Full-time PTAs will see
approximately 65 patients per week.Our ideal candidate is a
passionate empathic team-player with skills in manual therapy. New
grads are welcome and mentorship is available. If hired for this
role, the team will ensure that you are fully comfortable.Work
Schedule:This is a full-time or part-time position. The clinic is
open Monday - Friday. The candidate hired should expect a schedule
similar to the following:Monday: 7am - 7pm, or 7am - 4pmTuesday:
8am - 5pmWednesday: 7am - 7pm, or 7am - 4pmThursday: 8am -
5pmFriday: 8am - 1pm One long day per week is required, either
Monday or Wednesday, as well as one Saturday per month and one
holiday, either Memorial Day or Labor Day.Compensation and
Benefits:Physical Therapist Assistants are paid a competitive
hourly rate based on experience and specialty certifications. The
hourly rate for this position starts at $23.50 per hour.Benefits

license renewal, and APTA membership.Job Requirements:Graduation as
a Physical Therapy Assistant (or equivalent standing).Eligible for
Louisiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Both
full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.Prior
experience is not required. New Grad PTAs are welcome.Must be
