Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist position is available in New Orleans, LA,
serving K-12 students under a contract lasting through the
2025-2026 school year. This role requires an active Louisiana
Department of Education certification and offers the opportunity to
support students within a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities include: - Conducting comprehensive psychological
assessments for students across the K-12 spectrum - Collaborating
with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) - Providing counseling and
behavioral support services to students - Participating in
multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and foster
academic and social development - Maintaining accurate records and
documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines -
Supporting crisis intervention and prevention initiatives as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Active Louisiana DOE
certification as a School Psychologist - Experience working with
K-12 students in school settings - Strong assessment, counseling,
and communication skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a
multidisciplinary team - Familiarity with IDEA and other special
education regulations Work Schedule and Location: - Full-time, 35
hours per week; Monday through Friday, following the school
calendar - 7 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break -
Location is within the New Orleans metropolitan area Benefits
include a competitive compensation range of $55-$67 per hour. The
