School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for a School Psychologist in New Orleans,
LA, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract position runs from
ASAP through May 22, 2026, providing comprehensive psychological
support within the school environment. Key Responsibilities: -
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
across K-12 grade levels. - Collaborate with educators,
administrators, and families to develop effective intervention
plans. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support
student success and well-being. - Provide counseling and crisis
intervention services as needed. - Maintain accurate documentation
and adhere to all state and district policies. Qualifications: -
Active Louisiana DOE Certification as a School Psychologist is
required. - Experience working with K-12 students in school
psychology settings is highly preferred. - Strong skills in
conducting assessments, behavioral observations, and report
writing. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. -
Ability to work full-time (35 hours/week), following the school
calendar Monday through Friday. Additional Details: - Full-time
schedule includes seven-hour workdays plus a 30-minute unpaid
lunch. - Caseload and number of schools assigned will be determined
