Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse – Virginia Start Date: January 12, 2026 Location: Alexandria, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; every third or fourth weekend required; on-call responsibilities in collaboration with team Highlights: - Specialized cardiac catheterization lab experience with diverse case mix including cardiac caths, peripheral interventions, TAVR procedures, and device implantation - Collaborative staffing model with optimal nurse-to-patient ratio: one patient to four staff members (two nurses and two techs) - Day shift position with predictable weekend rotation schedule - No floating requirement – dedicated unit assignment - Temp-to-permanent opportunity available for qualified candidates - Two positions currently available Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of registered nursing experience required - Active RN license in Virginia or compact state licensure - Current BLS certification from American Heart Association - Current ACLS certification from American Heart Association - Critical care or cardiac cath lab experience strongly preferred - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated cardiac catheterization team where you'll work with cutting-edge cardiovascular technology and provide life-saving interventional care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.
