working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in New
Orleans, Louisiana, 70121! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience
of 2:1 - High acuity unit experience - CRRT and pronation therapy
experience Description: Please ensure you are aware of the
following information regarding this position. Upon accepting this
assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you
to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the
facility until after the event passes or be part of a relief team.
Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each
emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing your travel
contract, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your
immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should not
apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above
expectations. The patient population will include adults and
geriatric patients in a high acuity unit. You will be responsible
for various patient diagnoses and special procedures such as
pronation therapy and vasopressor titrations. CRRT dialysis and
experience with special equipment is required. Preferred, but not
required, certifications include CPI and NIHSS. You must have
experience charting in Epic and managing high acuity patients. Your
role will include providing care for ventilated patients, managing
dysrhythmias, and performing phlebotomy. You may also be expected
to assist with the management of BiPAP and CPAP, interpret arterial
blood gases, and administer blood products. You will work within a
supportive interdisciplinary team, including rapid response teams
and unit secretaries. Please be prepared for potential overflow to
other units. The patient ratio will typically be 2:1 for both days
and nights. Float requirements may apply based on staffing needs.
Pre-approved time off must be discussed during the interview
