Provide specialized nursing care in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting, supporting newborns and their families with skilled and compassionate attention. This role involves working closely with healthcare teams to monitor and treat infants requiring intensive medical support. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates in NICU and nursery units Monitor vital signs and assess infants health status continuously Administer prescribed treatments and medications following protocols Support families by providing education and emotional support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement individualized care plans Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and infection control standards Qualifications: Active RN licensure Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) Proven experience in NICU or nursery nursing preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stress environments Schedule: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Opportunity to start immediately This is a contract opportunity offering the chance to work in a dedicated NICU setting, perfect for nurses seeking a focused, short-term assignment.
