Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: New Orleans, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,569 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70121! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in neuro surgery and ortho spine. Unit does not accept first-time travelers. Neuro call is required. Experience in other service lines, such as general, ENT, and robotics is a plus. License: Compact or state license is required upon submission. Certifications: BLS certification is required. AWHONN Intermediate certification is required for L&D positions. CPI certification is required for certain nursing roles. Must-Have: Extensive experience in neuro and ortho spine services. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Traveler must be comfortable with emergency assignments as assigned by unit management. Description: This position requires a registered nurse in the operating room specialty. Candidates must have extensive experience in neuro surgery and ortho spine. Previous experience in other service lines is advantageous. Travelers must be aware they may be assigned to an emergency team when necessary. This requires staying until the event passes or being part of the relief team. Specific pay details will be shared during each emergency event. The unit does not accept first-time travelers due to the specialized nature of the work. Candidates should not apply if they are uncomfortable with emergency response expectations. All applicants must have an up-to-date NURSYS report. References are required for clearance prior to the start of the contract.
