Med/Surg RN in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301! Job Opportunity –
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Louisiana Start Date: January
19, 2026 (Multiple start dates available: 02/02, 02/09, 02/16)
Location: Alexandria, Louisiana Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Day
shift also available. Weekend shifts based on department needs.
Blocked scheduling attempted when possible. Highlights: Multiple
openings available with flexible start dates throughout February
2026 Focus on post-surgical patient populations including
orthopedics, general surgery, and neurology Nurse-to-patient ratio
of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing levels EPIC EMR experience is a
plus Temp-to-permanent opportunity available for qualified
candidates No on-call requirements; occasional floating based on
departmental needs Requirements: Active RN License in Louisiana or
Compact State License Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
certification required Minimum 1 year of experience in
Medical-Surgical nursing specialty preferred Bachelor of Science
Degree in Nursing preferred Ability to provide care for complex
