find a qualified PICU RN in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301! Job
Opportunity – Pediatric ICU RN – Louisiana Start Date: 11/05/2025
Location: Alexandria, Louisiana Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Flexible scheduling including
rotating weekends; mixed schedule of days/nights/weekends as needed
to meet unit needs Highlights: 6-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
within a 328-bed, Joint Commission accredited regional medical
center Low patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
ensuring focused, quality care Advanced critical care equipment
including ventilators, BiPap, high-flow oxygen, Alaris IV pumps,
Giraffe infant warmers, and more Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication
management system Perform critical procedures including sedation
management, titration of vasoactive drips, intubation/extubation,
and sedated MRI support May float to NICU, Nursery, or OB/GYN units
if qualified, providing diverse clinical experience Requirements:
Active Louisiana RN license or ability to obtain Minimum 1 year of
Pediatric ICU nursing experience required ACLS, BLS, and PALS
certifications required PICU and NICU experience preferred
Experience in women's health areas such as Labor and Delivery or
OB/GYN is a plus Must reside within 80-mile radius of facility Why
