Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled
Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support
primarily for middle and high school students, with potential
involvement across all grade levels within an elementary school
setting. This contract position spans the current school year and
is based in Metairie, LA. Key Responsibilities: Delivering direct
occupational therapy services tailored to student needs across
various grade levels, with a focus on middle and high school
students. Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop
and implement individualized treatment plans. Assessing student
progress and adjusting therapy goals accordingly. Maintaining
thorough documentation consistent with school and regulatory
guidelines. Participating in team meetings and parent conferences
as required. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational
Therapist with experience in school-based therapy. Demonstrated
ability to work effectively with middle and high school student
populations. Knowledge of educational environments and student
developmental stages. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
to collaborate with school personnel and families. Familiarity with
current therapeutic techniques and compliance with school health
