Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to
support high school students during the current school year in
Metairie, LA. This role involves working with a caseload of 15-17
students, providing therapeutic services that enhance students
ability to participate fully in their educational environment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy
assessments and interventions tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop
and implement appropriate treatment plans. Monitor student progress
and adjust therapy goals to promote functional independence and
academic success. Document all therapy services promptly and
maintain compliance with school and state requirements. Support the
integration of therapeutic techniques within the classroom setting.
Required Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational
Therapist with experience in school-based settings. Proven ability
to manage a high school caseload efficiently. Strong communication
skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity
with school regulations, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs),
and educational assessments. Commitment to fostering student
