nurses Must-Have: Highly proficient in
General/Robotics/Colorectal/Gu/GYN/Ortho/Neuro/ENT Description: You
will be submitted for a position in an area commonly impacted by
hurricanes. The hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30,
but storms may occur outside this window. Upon accepting this
assignment, you may be assigned to an "Emergency Team" where there
will be an expectation to stay until after the storm passes.
Specific details about pay related to storm impacts will be
communicated as they arise. You should only apply if you are
comfortable with these expectations. You will work weekends,
Saturday and Sunday, plus one weekday. You need to have on-call
availability. This unit does not accept first-time travelers. You
will be working independently on weekend shifts. Candidate must be
highly proficient in surgical procedures. References are not
required for submission, but two manager/supervisor references will
be needed to start the contract. The facility does not accept local
travelers. You must have two years of experience in the specialty
for all locations. Travel experience is required. NURSYS reports
for registered nurses must be submitted with your profile and
should be up to date. Candidates who have worked as permanent staff
must be separated from the facility for one full year before
returning as travel staff. Modules completed during orientation
