to find a qualified OR RN in New Orleans, Louisiana, 70121! Job

Experience: 3 years in cardiovascular and other specialties
License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS,
AWHONN Intermediate required for L&D RNs Must-Have: Extensive
experience with cardiovascular, robotics, general, orthopedic, and
other surgical specialties. Candidates must have travel experience.
Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should be
prepared for cardiovascular call requirements. Description: This
position is in a commonly impacted area for hurricanes. The
hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms can
occur outside of that window. Upon accepting an assignment, the
unit manager may assign the nurse to an emergency team during a
storm. It is expected that team members will stay until the storm
passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details related to
pay during storms will be communicated, as they vary. Candidates
should only apply if comfortable with these expectations regarding
storm-related duties. Charge RNs are not acceptable for this
position. Candidates must have two years of experience in specialty
for all locations. Local travelers are not accepted; candidates
must be over 65 miles from the healthcare site. RTO must be
included in the profile and discussed during the interview.
Candidates should ensure NURSYS reports are up to date, within four
weeks of submission. Two manager or supervisor references will be
required prior to starting the contract. Modules complete during
orientation are billable and factored into the orientation hours. 5
