Join Our Team as a Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) - Surgical Services

We are seeking a highly motivated Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to support Surgical Services with precision, efficiency, and a commitment to patient safety. This pivotal role involves sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of asepsis, and supporting surgical teams to deliver exceptional patient care. Required Skills:

• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) certification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Level I or Level II hospital setting
• Proficiency with sterilization equipment including Sterrad, Ultrasonic (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed), and sterilizers
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols
• Ability to follow established procedures accurately
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to work rotational or scheduled shifts

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with emergency response or on-call responsibilities
• Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures related to sterile processing
• Prior experience working in high-pressure environments
• Knowledge of additional sterilization technology and equipment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certification (CRCST or CSPDT)
• At least 2 years of sterile processing experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to participate in emergency or relief teams as assigned
• Ability and willingness to work the mid-shift 14:00 - 22:30
• Reliable work history with no cancellations
• Must attach completed checklist document as specified
• Travel reimbursement, licensure, certification, and other applicable allowances provided
