The John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a Lead Cardiovascular Surgeon with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our multispecialty group practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional, experienced, clinically oriented cardiovascular surgeon who is Board Certified in cardiovascular surgery, and has the ability to lead a community hospital program that is projected to generate approximately 300 open heart surgeries per year. Compensation will be commensurate with the expectation of high-level clinical performance and leadership.
The John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute is a part of the Ochsner Health System, and employs ten Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeons and 51 Board Certified Cardiologists at six locations across Southeastern Louisiana. We offer a comprehensive full-service cardiovascular practice including state of the art cardiovascular surgical management.
