of Duties: The Nurse Team Leader is responsible for direct
supervision of the nursing team members in each clinic to provide
efficient quality patient care in accordance with the CIS Mission
Statement. Specific Duties: Fosters leadership and respect from
staff and physicians by adherence to the Standards of
Behavior.Promotes the goals and objectives of the practice at all
times, anticipates issues with a focus on resolution.Effectively
communicates with providers and other team leaders any issues,
concerns or obstacles regarding patient care, patient flow and
clinic volume.Actively promote team member participation in
sustaining clinical and corporate Patient Satisfaction
goals.Promote nursing team member adherence in fulfilling annual
CIS Quality Initiative goals.Work with clinic and corporate
departments for constant process improvement to identify LEAN
opportunities in the nursing department.Work closely with the front
office team leader to coordinate the patient visits and/or tests
throughout the clinic and balance the specific needs of the
patients and providers.Communicate with diagnostic staff regarding
current status and changes of diagnostic schedule to assist the
clinic flow and to facilitate provider coverage.Ensure nursing team
member compliance with accurate, complete and real-time
documentation in the patients' medical record.Develop nursing team
member staffing schedule to meet the clinical needs of the practice
for efficient workflow.Assist Office Team Leader to recruit,
identify, interview, and hire the most qualified and professional
nursing team candidates for the clinic.Train, educate, and document
nursing team member competence to ensure quality patient
care.Conduct individual nursing team member coaching plans annually
and recommend pay increases as indicated.Maintain accurate,
up-to-date personnel files and documents nursing team member
performance counseling sessions, disciplinary actions, and all
performance records; ensure Human Resources department receives
copies of appropriate documentation.Monitor the required
professional licenses and certifications of nursing team members
and ensure that all are kept current.Conduct routine nursing
department meetings and participate in other clinic or corporate
committee meetings as needed.Participate in fiscal responsibility
discussions with Office Team Leader and other department
leaders.Assist in direct patient care during planned or unexpected
nursing team member absences. Perform other related duties as
assigned and serve in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for
successful completion of the mission and goals of CIS and in
concordance with CIS patient philosophy. Qualifications:State
licensure as a licensed practical nurseCardiology experience
preferredOne to two years clinical experienceACLS and BLS
certificationsSuccessful completion of assigned EKG
CoursesExperience or ability to learn Supervisory
functionsEffective communication skills required The specific
