This role is ideal for a chef who takes pride in pristine product handling, thoughtful execution, and leading a disciplined, professional kitchen culture. This is an opportunity to own the culinary program , shape the menu, and build a strong team within a growing restaurant group that values collaboration, consistency, and long-term success. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Full healthcare package Performance-based bonus potential Relocation assistance available (Central Texas) What We’re Looking For 4 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in an upscale or fine dining environment Hands-on seafood experience required , including fresh fish and shellfish handling Strong scratch kitchen background with high standards for execution and consistency Solid understanding of food cost, labor management, and operational controls Proven ability to hire, train, and retain high-performing kitchen teams Stable career progression with strong tenure Comfortable using modern kitchen and scheduling systems The Role Lead all back-of-house operations with a focus on quality, cleanliness, and efficiency Develop seasonal menus and specials that highlight seafood and fresh ingredients Build and mentor a professional culinary team and positive kitchen culture Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Partner with ownership and leadership to drive overall restaurant success Why This Opportunity Full creative and operational ownership of the kitchen High visibility role with influence over menu and team structure Strong leadership support and clear expectations Chance to lead a premier seafood program in a growing market
