Marriott International invites applications for the role of Davenport Lounge Server at our esteemed hotel. This role requires an enthusiastic individual dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences through one-on-one service and personal detail. As a server in our dynamic Davenport Lounge, you'll be the front line of our commitment to excellence and hospitality. You'll interact directly with guests, maintaining a friendly, efficient, and professional demeanor while ensuring all guests feel welcomed and valued. Greet guests promptly and courteously in the lounge area. Take beverage and food orders, serving them in a timely and professional manner. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and beverages available, including ingredients and preparation methods. Process payments and maintain financial responsibility. Ensure cleanliness of work areas, including tables and seating areas, during and after service. Provide information about menu items, hotel facilities, and local attractions upon request. Manage guest queries and concerns with empathy and efficiency. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial transactions Excellent memory and attention to detail Proficiency in time management Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k TIPS certification or local equivalent for responsible alcohol service preferred.
