Job Description:

Crossroads is searching on behalf of our client, ResponsAble Safety Staffing, for candidates with a proven track record of sourcing and placing permanent full-time Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professionals within multiple industries.
Position RequirementsTo be successful, you'll need to establish strong relationships with clients and candidates through phone calls, meetings, and on-site visits. Successful candidates will have previous business development experience to solicit new clients. Interviewing and resume screening skills are required to ensure candidate credentials match job requirements. The successful candidate should have experience building and maintaining a network for new business opportunities and referrals to help source qualified candidates. This position requires strong negotiating and communication skills, a highly motivated person and a self-starter with a high sense of urgency, and a strong desire to succeed with excellent organization skills and an emphasis on maintaining detailed documentation.Experience in recruiting EHS professionals is preferred but experienced recruiters within other markets and industries will be considered.
Responsibilities

  • Develop business and build pool of candidates by proactively cold calling and networking
  • Develop job descriptions per client requirements
  • Develop recruiting plans for the specific market, industry, and skillsets required
  • Manage expenses to budget by job and year
  • Create job postings to place on job boards and utilize social marketing for recruitment
  • Review resumes of candidates to screen qualified candidates
  • Conduct prescreening interviews to evaluate if applicants meet the position requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with clients
  • Maintain all client, applicant, and interview data within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Manage end-to-end Hiring Process for Client
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Market exclusive candidates where no client listings exist
    Skills and Knowledge:
    • Five plus years' recruiting experience in a recruiting company environment
    • College Degree a plus but not required
    • Recruiting for Environmental Health and Safety positions is a plus
    • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
    • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows and ATS experience (eg Avionte)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work with various intra-company roles and foster teamwork
    • Skills in database management and record-keeping
    • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of client and candidate information
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must be able to identify and resolve problems promptly
    • Competent in analytical and problem solving skills
    • Professional attitude
    • Considerate
    • Ability to work with little supervision
