Level 3 Senior Technician. We are seeking a motivated person with
awesome people skills, strong communication abilities and, most
importantly, well developed technical skill to join our team. You
will work from our comfortable offices located in Baton Rouge
supporting our client's servers, firewalls, networks, cloud
environments and other systems as well as working on more complex
or emergency service tickets and projects assigned by the Service
Coordinator. A typical week will also include onsite service at our
client's offices and facilities located throughout the greater
Baton Rouge area, with occasional onsite service in the New Orleans
area. This position requires the candidate to identify user
problems promptly, develop solutions and always maintain our high
level of customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities Level 3
TechnicianHighest tier of support relating to technical issues
involving Microsoft's core business applications and for
cloud-based applications and technologies such as Microsoft
365.Highest tier of support for Microsoft related technologies:
Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, as well as virtual
environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware.Highest tier of
support for hosted VoIP solutions.Technical services and support at
the network level: WAN, LAN and WLAN connectivity, routers,
firewalls, and securityRemote access solution implementation and
support: VPN, Remote Desktop, and CitrixSystem documentation and
consulting services to include system reviews and
recommendations.Communication with customers as required: keeping
them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending
changes or agreed outages.Work service tickets escalated from Level

and Experience Required:To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Maintain or acquire
Professional IT Certifications as determined by the Professional
Development Plan.All Level 3 Technicians are expected to achieve a
Watchguard Certification within the first 6 months of employment.
Examples of additional certifications that may be required include
Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco, VMware, CompTIAAbility to pass test
demonstrating strong written and verbal communications skills.5 -
10 years IT support experience with proven experience working on
networking, servers and applications in an enterprise
environment.Ability to pass vocabulary and operational proficiency
tests on current PC hardware, software, and networking.Ability to
work as scheduled sitting, standing, stooping, lift and carry 35
lbs., use a keyboard, and speak on the phone.Ability to travel to
client site using your private vehicle.Preferred Qualifications &
Abilities (i.e. not all are required, but the more you have the
better):Interpersonal skills: Such as telephony skills,
communication skills, active listening and customer-careDiagnosis
skills of technical issuesAbility to multi-task and adapt to
changes quickly.Service awareness of all organization's key IT
services for which support is being provided.Understanding of
support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT
services.Ability to analyze practical business impact of IT and
related systems.Self-motivated with the ability to work in a
fast-moving environment.2 years of coursework in computer related
discipline.2 years of experience with a managed services provider
or IT consulting company.Current/Active certification related to
networking or servers.Experience with Mac or Linux based
systems.Experience with network cable installation and
