These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.Your primary responsibilities include:Analyze, validate and propose improvements to existing failures, with the support of the architect and technical leader.Involvement in every step of the process, from design, development, testing release changes and troubleshoot where necessary, providing a great customer service.Drive key discussions with your stakeholders and analyze the current landscape for opportunities to operate and code creative solutions.Successful candidates for these positions will work on-site at one of our IBM Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge, LA, Monroe, LA or Lansing, Michigan The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from one of our Baton Rouge, Monroe or Lansing centers. Some travel is expected, and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws.
