We are looking for a PC Technician to join the "projects team" for a 4 month contract (to start) to help deploy various IT hardware devices across multiple locations around the Lafayette, LA area. Our Projects Team is responsible for strictly project work such as IT hardware deployments and/or upgrades for new construction projects, acquisitions, new partnerships, etc. The Lafayette region has several upcoming hardware deployment projects for new clinics, clinics that are being renovated, and clinics that are being moved from one location to another. In Lafayette, there is one project manager and one full time technician.

This person will report to the warehouse in Broussard, LA and will be responsible for travelling to project locations and deploy hardware including: PCs, laptops, keyboards, mice, printers, monitors, label scanners, etc. All devices will come pre-imaged so these techs will be unboxing the hardware, installing everything, cable management, asset tagging, printer mapping, and making sure everything is documented. We use spreadsheets for deployments and this person will be required to update the spreadsheets throughout the project.

We are looking for a well-rounded PC technician that we can trust to send to a location on his/her own. Someone who is heavy customer service focused, good communication skills, dependable, and eager to learn.

This person should be able to work independently without supervision. This person should have a history of being prompt and showing up on time without issue. This person should also have great communication and communicate status updates.
