Job Description:
Clean Harbors seeks a dedicated and skilled EO (Environmental
Operator)/Driver III to join our team, leveraging our core values
of safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. This
role focuses on safeguarding environments by safely transporting
hazardous wastes and operating specialized equipment to support our
diverse environmental projects. The ideal candidate will be a
champion for environmental safety and a pivotal part of our mission
to maintain a sustainable future. Safely operate various types of
equipment and vehicles used in environmental clean-up projects,
including but not limited to vacuum trucks, roll-offs, and tankers.
Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste in full compliance with
applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company
policies. Perform daily checks on equipment and vehicles to ensure
operational safety and efficiency. Record and maintain accurate
logs of work performed and conditions encountered during the
operation. Participate in all job-related safety training and
ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures. Respond to
emergency situations as part of a rapid response team when
required. Maintain communication with dispatch and project managers
to ensure alignment with project aims and schedules. Proficiency in
operating heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Strong understanding of
safety protocols and environmental regulations. Ability to maintain
accurate records and logs. Effective communication and teamwork
skills. Good physical condition and ability to handle physical
demands of the job. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. OSHA Hazardous Waste
Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification. DOT and
EPA compliance training certification preferred.
